Welcome and thank you for visiting! I hope you enjoy my website. Here you will find free snippets of the beginnings of my books, beautiful photos by photographer Jennifa d'arcRaven, praise for my work from various well known authors, a calendar of events, etc...
I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions about the books, would like to schedule an interview or want to discuss speaking dates and times. I'm always delighted when my younger fans contact me for writing advice or if when they ask me to read their work for an encouraging boost!

Also, I have a big announcement: People know me as "The Mermaid Lady" and I am available in Idaho this summer to make your little girl or boy's dreams come true! I will be hosting children's mermaid or ocean themed birthday parties in which they learn how to become a mermaid. I will bring a special gift from under the sea and play games with them and their guests in your family pool, or hotel, community pool - whichever you choose - to complete your child's vision. One of my parties this summer will be taking place in the McCall Payette Lake! It will surely be an event to remember!
In addition, I am available for company events. Should your company be celebrating an occasion, what better way to bring the mystique of fantasy and wonder than to bring in a mermaid? I can locate a fish tank to bring in, or be there "dry".
You may want to know if the tail is "real" - the answer is yes! It is a swimmable, fully usable tail. Made of neoprene and rubber, it fits like a glove and is the most gorgeous thing I own. It is orange and gold and made by the talented Eric Ducharme of themertailor.com.
All of my public relations training comes from my years of experience as a rodeo queen and my time at Walt Disney World, in which I attended Walt Disney University and earned my Ducktorate Degree. It was with regret that I left Disney, having to miss my chance at a role of "Sleeping Beauty" in order to graduate from Boise State University. I am also the mother of two myself, and know how to interact with children of all ages.
Being a mermaid is one of my life callings and it is my hope that you will wish to be a part of it.
All the best to you and yours,
Ashley L. Knight
